At Kula Yoga Shala our intention is to warmly welcome you to your practice exactly as you are. We seek to provide a sacred space that supports you on your journey through the guidance of inspiring teachers and a full diversity of practices from dynamic & exhilarating to calming & centering. But most of all our focus resides in opening up access to an authentic studio experience for all people regardless of age, income, ability, gender, ethnicity, or life circumstance.
Kula is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning Community of the Heart. It is the notion of community that dwells at the heart of our purpose. We are a collective of over 75 yoga teachers, healing arts practitioners and creative artists.
Kula Yoga Shala offers over 60 yoga classes each week, all on a donation basis. We do not have a suggested donation amount. We simply ask that you give what is within your means and act with consideration when choosing your donation so that we may honor a healthy exchange of energy between teacher and student. We believe in the inherent generosity of the human spirit and thank you for supporting us so that we may in turn support you. We are dedicated to the celebration of spirit through yoga, healing arts, community, music and service. We welcome you. Namaste.
