As E-RYT500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher who has taught at least 2000 hours of yoga), I teach Hatha, restorative, gentle, yin, prenatal, yoga therapy and meditation with compassion, love and healing in a safe and nurturing environment. I love to nurture people with physical limitations, size limitations, injuries, trauma, rehab, surgery recovery, seniors, pain management, or with other health challenges with therapeutic yoga that focuses on breath work, gentle yoga, stretches, restorative yoga, yoga-nidra, meditation and healing. There is no “right” way of doing an asana (posture); it is all about what a person needs in the present moment and where the body is willing to go.
I am also an Ayurvedic Practitioner, and Ayurvedic chef with 1000 hours training in Ayurveda, and author of “Alchemy of Ayurvedic Cookery”. I offer Ayurvedic lifestyle and wellness counseling, teach private as well as group Ayurvedic cooking classes, offer cooking consultations based on your unique constitution, life style, challenges, health issues, constraints and constitutional pattern of body-mind-consciousness.
Trained in Integrative Yoga Therapy, I help people with physical limitations, size limitations, injuries, trauma, rehab, surgery recovery, pain management, chronic stress and with other health challenges. I use holistic approach to healing using adaptation of yoga poses as your unique body requirements, breath work, gentle yoga, stretches, restorative yoga, meditation, yoga-nidra and mudra.
